I slipped...


Its the exam period now and I've been trying to get some last minute (as usual) studying done. It is just really hard for me to keep to my diet when im outside. If im home, i cook my own meals and eat pretty healthy stuff and i dont snack. But when im out, what are the options? It is PURE TORTURE if i were to order a salad while i watch Ter eat some super yummy food right?!


So, yes, i slipped. MAJORLY. 
Felt like my efforts to lose 2kg over the past 2 weeks have been wasted. I gained back almost 1kg within like 3 days? Just because i ate whatever i wanted. Le sigh. Had Pork Chops and Fish&Chips and McDonald's and KFC etc. 


Its terrible omg i hate it. I regret my decisions so freaking much i just wanna undo everything. Tried to rectify it today by having Soup Spoon's Tokyo Chicken Stew (only 177kcal!) for lunch today after my paper. BUT, i had KFC Twister for breakfast. wtf its like slapping myself on the face. -.- 


SLAP ME PLEASE.


I need to (re) start eating proper food again. Make sandwiches for breakfast, have light lunches and drink my protein shake for dinner. I NEED TO GET BACK MY ROUTINE. The exams are screwing with my appetite and daily routine. I am especially hungry after my paper. =\ RAH I need to lose 2kg by Tuesday to keep to my plan!



Okay I am officially depressed.

Overdued post.


Was supposed to update this space a week after starting the programme. But i didnt turn on my laptop until today. ha. So, today's the 10th day and I've lost 1.5kg so far. Its an OKAY~ progress i guess. But i want MORE. I need to lose like 15-20kg to reach my ideal weight. =[



Will need to go running to lose the fats faster. Anyway, i have become very conscious of what i eat. Need to cut carbs, increase veggies, drink more water, avoid fried and fatty food. I even stopped eating sweets (omg my favourite Mentos i miss you) and drinking sweet drinks (like green tea, passion fruit, iced lemon tea etc). I bring my water bottle everywhere i go, even at home its always beside me. -.-



OH! And i download an app called My Fitness Pal. It monitors my weight, exercise and food intake. So basically i search for stuff that i ate and add it into my daily food diary. They calculated, based on my height and weight and ideal weight etc, and came to a conclusion that i should eat 1200kcal a day. By adding in the foods i eat for every meal, i can monitor the amount of calories i can take for the next meal. I got no self control so i get the app to control me haha. This app is really really good!



Ter has been a great help this past week. Im uber determined to lose weight and keep to the programme. So he's been helping by stopping me from eating fat foods and carbs. Since i spend most of my time with him, i figure he's the best person for the job. Besides, he's my eating partner. Ter provides such awesome support. Love him!



Also, swallowing the pills have become much more easier than before. It has become part of my everyday routine. Which is good since i tend to forget stuff. 



I aim to lose 1kg per week, which is 4kg per month, and eventually a total of 12kg at the end of the 3-month programme.

Went to the gym with my mom then feast on some pizza and a piece of chicken. THATS IT. omg i was so sad looking at them eat. I had to control myself. No snack and stuff. Only one chicken breast and a piece of thincrust pizza. =\

On a lighter note, 7-11 is having this Hello Kitty and Todoki promotion. Spend $4 to get a stamp and collect 6 stamps plus $3.90 to get a Hello Kitty. They're packed in individual boxes so what you get is random. I was like ahhhhh HK I WANT. So Ter kept buying stuff from 7-11 to collect stamps for me hahaha. Why so love one! Anyway buying newspaper gives you double stamps. Awesome~





I got the kitty that i wanted on our 3rd try! 
Not bad since they have 10 kitties in total. I wanted this pink one and the cow kitty. 
But nevermind, im satisfied. Unless Ter wants to buy more 7-11 stuff?  =D

OH YA.

I got my prelims papers back and i failed 2 out of 5. Kindda depressing but i wouldnt say it is a bad result? Failed Accounting and IBM. Passed Econs, Maths, Stats.

Need to study but im still not doing it. I must have a screw loose somewhere. Scared as hell because my mains are 2 weeks away., yet im chillax as can be. I need help. -.-

Starting off...


This is day one of my slimming programme. Just wanted to record the progress as well as the process. 


So, my dad heard about the programme from a friend and he went to find out more before telling me about it. My dad REALLY wants me to slim down. -.- lol like die die also dont want me to be fat. We took on the TRA (The Right Approach) programme from NuSkin. It is basically a 3-month programme where i'll have to take supplements and control my diet. Okay i wouldnt say CONTROL-CONTROL, because i still get to eat. haha. Like i'm still able to eat Subway (which i am extremely extremely relieved about) and not stick to one apple per meal kind of diet. 


Their diet plan is mainly to control the amount of carbs, protein, and veggies you put into the body. So i just have to reduce my carbs and eat more fruits and veggies. I have to admit that i am pretty upset because i LOVE my carbs. Love. I like anything starchy... Potatoes, Breads, Pasta etc. 


On the other hand, i have supplements to help burn fat and boost my metabolism. Even without these, i am sure i will lose SOME weight by cutting down on carbs, but the supplements will help with the progress and make me lose even more. There will be not much of a rebound because i am still eating! Not as if i starved myself, because starvation or chionging exercises are just too hard to maintain and the weight comes right back on..  And i'm sure there's something that makes me feel full i guess? Because i dont feel as hungry eventhough i skipped the cookies and sugary-drinks while at Subway. #AcheivementUnlocked

Have to whatsapp my consultant photos of my food so that she can make sure im eating the right type of food and my portions as well. Talk about follow-up service! (Y) lol.



This is my 1-day supply of pills. 
Yes, ONE DAY. 
But thankfully im fine with swallowing pills so its all good! =D
(The only concern is if i eat this in school, people might start staring =\)



Breakfast: 
Sandwich with ham, cheese, lettuce, mutligrain bread.

Snack: 
Sneaked in a piece of honey biscuit =P 
(Hey Rome wasnt built in a day!)

Lunch: 
Subway with roasted chicken breast, lettuce, cucumber, pickles, jalepeno, abit of honey mustard.

Dinner: 
Trimshake and one apple

Hmm, day one, 89 more days to go. Hopefully it works otherwise i'll be wasting my dad's money. This programme is so expensive i couldnt believe at first. 0.0 But since my dad is so enthu and he's willing to pay to let me try, then i better keep to it and not slack off.

On a lighter note, it was my mummy's 44th birthday on Sunday (i bought her a pot of purple petunia haha) and we went to Trader's Hotel for buffet dinner. Which was pretty yums.. Only downside is that i was meeting my consultant the very next day to take my measurements. SIBEH SIAN. Buffet at night then take weight the next day. Self pawn only. Had to restrict myself and not eat too much... =\ 


My sister on the other hand ate like nobody's business. Everyone had their fill and were drinking tea or smth.... She was still eating, an additional 2 rounds somemore omfg someone stop that girl! 0.0 


(My mom forever puking when she dont get enough sleep. This time is because she didnt get to NAP in the afternoon. Because she naps everyday at work during lunchtime, once her routine is messed up, she gets headaches and start puking. Im like wtf are you serious? Nap also can like that ah. WIN.)

SO the next day i went to Park Mall to meet my consultant after school. Got all my stuff and measurements  Conclusion is that i..have..alot..of..fats.. Amore's analysis said the same too, i just have lots of fats! Sheesh i feel like a tub of lard right after hearing that. -.- Ter accompanied me there and did the analysis too, 
AND STILL I HAVE MORE FATS THAN HIM WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY.

ANYWAY, we went to my absolute favourite NANDOS for lunch, which is my last yummy meal to gorge myself silly on. My dear dear Nandos..... 


Boy's mushroom soup which looks like greenbean soup, which tasted SUPERB. They put in spices and it tasted really really good. =D

BAAAAH.

Feeling crazily lazy to blog cuz photos are usually with boy and I've been pretty tired. 
Just wanna stone and watch TVD/Supernatural/WalkingDead. 
hahaha. =P


Birthday's coming up and im doing all the planning on my own. Sucks to be me. -.- Done with booking the venue, now to settle my cake and caterer. As well as decorations afterwards. Urgh troublesome. Yet, i have to watch out for prices because finances are not by me. So i cant have whatever i want, must plan and consider prices. Like one man show wtf. It better turn out okay, else i'll end up pulling out all my hair...


School's been a bitch because i am feeling tired like EVERY SINGLE DAY. Struggling so fucking hard to stay awake in lectures while some of my friends sleep and snore beside me. Wtf damn tempting to just get a shut eye. But i know once i sleep, i wont get up and i'll miss a whole lot of stuff that's coming out of the lecturer's mouth. Urgh decisions decisions. Besides, tests are coming up and i've yet to start studying. Seriously, story of my life, plan my own birthday and struggle with school.


Really really really need to study. I wanna maintain my streak of passing every subject for the tests. So far im the only one in my clique, who passed all subjects. If i can pass test two this time round, i'll feel much better about the main exams in May next year. Fingers crossed!


On a random note, i miss reading. But its so hard to find good books that are worth reading AND interest me. How i wish books like Fifty Shades of Grey and The Hunger Games NEVER END! Like some tv sitcom that goes on and on so that i dont have to stop.. =[ Having to part with a good book is just so upsetting. I LOVE a good read.

Been neglecting my blog. I usually nap in the afternoon and do work (if any) at night, surf net watch drama then sleep. No life. Everyday after school, i'll lunch with Ter. We'll nap for a few hours afterwards then i'll go home. Its pretty much like this every day. lol.

Saw this super chio car at Vivo. Its for the Skyfall promo. Speaking of which, i caught Skyfall with Ter on its premier day and it was awesome~ Cant stop singing Adele's Skyfall. haha. 





Lunch date at Vivo's Marche. Havent been there for soooo long. (because its quite pricey tbh)
But i love their rosti and calamari and we had the most worthy and amazing pasta gratin. Mega worth the price as compared to the other items!


Crepe for dessert is a must!









Impromptu date night at the Airport. I really like the environment at the Airport. So spacious and chill-worthy. Coffeebean for dinner. SUPER NICE CARROT CAKE

Tried out Ice Edge Cafe (as reccomended by my aunt) and it was YUM. It didnt disappoint. BUT their stuff were pretty pricey. Good food and gelato but its somewhere we can only go at the start of the month. lol.


My Salmon served with potato gratin and side salad.. Omg i just fell in love. Super duper nice and the skin is crispy! Love love love.



After much consideration, we finally decided to order this Mao Shan Wang Lava Cake for dessert. We hesitated because it costs like $13. Wah but i dont regret. Its exceeded my expectations and i was SO happy lol!
